- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 2 stalks celery, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Tablespoon Cajun Seasoning
- 1 1/2 cups long grain rice
- 3 1/2 cups beef broth
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook and crumble the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink.
- Add in the diced onion, bell pepper, celery, minced garlic, and Cajun seasoning. Cook until vegetables start to soften.
- Stir in the rice and beef broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and let simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
- Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork.
- Season with salt to taste.
