Description

Snicker Salad is a playful and indulgent dessert that combines the crunchy, chewy textures of Snickers bars with the crisp tartness of green apples and the creamy sweetness of whipped topping. This easy-to-make dish is a popular choice at gatherings and potlucks, offering a sweet treat that’s both satisfying and unique.

Ingredients

4 Granny Smith Apples
4-5 Snickers Candy Bars
8 oz Cool Whip (or 1 cup heavy whipping cream)
1 (3.4 oz) Vanilla Instant Pudding Mix
1/2 cup milk

Instructions

Wash your apples well and cut them into small cubes. Then cut your Snickers candy into small chunks.
If you are using heavy cream, whip your cream to stiff peaks.
In a large bowl whisk together milk and vanilla pudding mix until well combined.
If you are using Cool Whip, add it to the pudding mixture and mix until well combined. If you are using fresh whipped cream, add the pudding mixture to the whipped cream and whisk until well combined and still has stiff peaks.
Add in the apples and snickers, and stir until well combined.
Store in the fridge until ready to serve.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, substitute Greek yogurt for the whipped topping and use a sugar-free pudding mix.
  • The salad is best eaten the day it is made as the apples can brown and the candy may soften if left longer.
