Pumpkin Dog Treats are wholesome and tasty snacks perfect for rewarding your canine friends. Made with natural ingredients like pumpkin puree and peanut butter, these treats are not only delicious but also provide essential nutrients and fiber, making them ideal for dogs with sensitive stomachs.
Ingredients
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup applesauce
3 tbsp peanut butter
1 egg
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
Instructions
Prepare Oven and Sheet Pan:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
Using a stand or hand mixer, beat together the pumpkin puree, applesauce, peanut butter, and egg until well combined.
Incorporate Dry Ingredients:
Mix in the whole wheat flour, salt, and baking soda. Beat until just combined. If the dough hasn’t come together completely, knead it on a floured surface until smooth.
Shape and Bake:
Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut the cookies using a bone-shaped cookie cutter.
Evenly spread the cut cookies out on the prepared sheet pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-25 minutes, or until they reach your desired level of hardness.
Cool and Serve:
Let the treats cool completely before serving to your favorite four-legged friend.

- To Store: Place the treats in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to a week.
- To Freeze: Dog treats can be frozen in a freezer-safe container for a few months.
