Description

This Homemade Sweet Chili Sauce is a perfect blend of sweet and spicy flavors, made with fresh chili peppers, garlic, sugar, and vinegar. It’s a versatile condiment that can be used as a dipping sauce, glaze, or dressing, adding a delicious kick to any dish.

Ingredients

🌶️ 10 finely chopped red chillies 🧄 6 cloves peeled garlic 🍷 100ml white wine vinegar 🌽 2 tablespoons corn flour 🧂 4 pinches salt 💧 400ml water 🍚 200g crushed sugar

Instructions

Step 1: To make this delicious sweet chilli sauce, combine the red chillies, garlic, vinegar, salt, and water in a blender. Blend these ingredients until smooth. If you want this dip to be high on the spice quotient, then add red chili flakes in the blender too and then blend all the ingredients.

Step 2: Now heat a pan over medium flame. Transfer the blended mixture in the pan and stir well. Simmer until it starts to boil and add the corn flour. Stir well until it starts to thicken. Remove the pan from the flame and allow it to cool. Transfer to a clean, sterilized jar and use as needed. If you’re planning to host a card party at home, then this sweet chilli sauce is perfect to pair with scrumptious snacks like french fries and chicken nuggets!

Notes

  • For a spicier sauce, add more chili pepper or include seeds.
  • The sauce can be strained for a smoother consistency if desired.
  • Adjust the amount of sugar and vinegar to suit your taste for sweetness and tanginess.
