Description
Easy Garlic Bread combines the crispiness of toasted bread with the rich flavor of garlic butter, all topped with melted cheeses. Itβs a classic side dish that pairs wonderfully with pasta, soups, and salads or is perfect as a standalone snack.
Ingredients
16 oz Loaf French bread or Italian bread
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 garlic cloves, (large) finely minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped, plus more to garnish
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1 Reynolds Wrap Non-Stick Foil
Instructions
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
Prepare the Bread:
Cut the loaf of French or Italian bread in half lengthwise.
Make the Garlic Butter:
In a medium bowl, combine softened butter, sea salt, garlic powder, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix until well blended.
Spread the Mixture:
Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the bread halves.
Add Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese evenly over the buttered bread halves.
Wrap and Bake:
Wrap the bread halves in Reynolds Wrapβ Non-Stick Foil, leaving the top slightly open to let steam escape.
Place the wrapped bread on a baking sheet.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Notes
- For a lighter version, use low-fat cheese and replace butter with a low-calorie butter substitute.
- Add a sprinkle of chili flakes or drizzle with balsamic glaze for an extra flavor kick
