Description
An easy slow cooker recipe that combines cheese-filled ravioli with layers of rich marinara sauce and cheese, creating a lasagna-like dish without the hassle of layering traditional noodles.
Ingredients
1 lb (or 2 lbs for extra meatiness) Ground Beef (browned and drained)
1 package Frozen Cheese Ravioli
1 jar Pasta Sauce (your favorite)
2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
½ cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the ground beef:
Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
2. Layer the ingredients in the crockpot:
Start by spreading a thin layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
Add a layer of frozen cheese ravioli over the sauce.
Sprinkle some of the browned ground beef over the ravioli.
Add a handful of shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
Repeat the layers (sauce, ravioli, beef, cheeses) until all ingredients are used up, finishing with a cheese layer on top.
3. Cook the lasagna:
Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours. The ravioli should be tender, and the cheese fully melted
