Description
A Chicken Wrap is a versatile and satisfying meal wrapped in a soft tortilla, combining tender chicken with a mix of fresh vegetables, cheese, and a flavorful sauce. Perfect for a quick lunch, dinner, or a healthy snack, this wrap is a delicious way to enjoy a balanced meal.
Ingredients
300 grams of boneless chicken breast, thinly sliced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon of paprika
1/2 teaspoon of chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon of coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup of shredded lettuce
1 medium tomato, diced
1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 cucumber, sliced
2-3 large flour tortillas
2 tablespoons of honey mustard dressing (or dressing of your choice)
Red chilli flakes, to taste
Lemon juice, to taste
Yogurt, for serving
Mayonnaise, for serving
Instructions
In a bowl, marinate the chicken slices with minced garlic, paprika, chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add a drizzle of oil and cook the marinated chicken slices until they are cooked through and slightly browned. Set aside.
In a separate bowl, prepare the salad mixture. Combine shredded lettuce , diced tomato , sliced red onion , and cucumber slices . Toss them together.
Warm the flour tortillas on a dry pan or microwave for a few seconds, so they become pliable.
Spread honey mustard dressing on each tortilla.
Place a portion of the cooked chicken slices on each tortilla. Add the prepared salad mixture on top.
Sprinkle red chilli flakes over the filling according to your desired level of spiciness.
Squeeze some fresh lemon juice over the filling.
Optionally, you can add a dollop of yogurt and a spread of mayonnaise for added creaminess.
Roll up the tortillas tightly to form wraps .
Cut the wraps diagonally into halves or leave them whole.
Serve the chicken wraps immediately and enjoy!
