  • 6 slices of bread, cubed

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: diced vegetables such as bell peppers, onions, or mushrooms

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Layer the bottom of the dish with cubed bread. Sprinkle the cooked sausage and optional vegetables evenly over the bread. Top with shredded cheese.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the bread, sausage, and cheese layers in the baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown.
