Ingredients
5 tablespoons soy sauce
¼ cup chopped green onion
2 ½ tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
2 tablespoons sesame oil
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
Instructions
Gather all ingredients.
Prepare the Marinade:
Whisk together soy sauce, green onion, sugar, garlic, sesame seeds, sesame oil, and black pepper in a bowl until well combined.
Marinate the Steak:
Place the thinly sliced flank steak in a shallow dish.
Pour the marinade over the steak slices, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or ideally overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
Preheat the Grill:
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
Lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking.
Grill the Steak:
Remove the marinated steak slices from the refrigerator.
Quickly grill the flank steak slices on the preheated grill until they are slightly charred and cooked through, about 1 to 2 minutes per side.
Serve Hot:
Once cooked, transfer the grilled beef bulgogi to a serving platter.
Serve hot and enjoy with your favorite side dishes!
Enjoy your delicious Beef Bulgogi!
Notes
- Freezing the beef for about 30 minutes before slicing can make it easier to cut into thin slices.
- If you don’t have an Asian pear, a regular pear or apple can be used as a substitute.
