- 1 cup granulated sugar

- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt

- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Batter:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well. Stir in the mashed bananas until combined.
- Gradually add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined. Fold in the chocolate chips if using.
- Bake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Make the Frosting (Optional):
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the consistency with more milk if needed.
- Cool and Serve:
- Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Drizzle or spread the frosting over the brownies once they are completely cool. Slice and serve.
Notes
- For added texture, mix in 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans.
- To store, keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or refrigerate for up to a week.
