Description

Apple pie quesadillas are a quick and easy dessert that combines warm, cinnamon-spiced apples with melted cheese, wrapped in crispy tortillas for a sweet and savory treat.

Ingredients

8 small tortillas
1/2 cup caramel sauce
20 oz can apple pie filling
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1/4 cup butter

Instructions

Mix Cinnamon Sugar:
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
Prepare Tortillas:
Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface. Spread a thin layer of caramel sauce on one side of each tortilla.
Add Apple Pie Filling:
Spoon the apple pie filling evenly over half of each tortilla. Fold the tortillas in half to create quesadillas.
Cook the Quesadillas:
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Place the quesadillas in the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Add Cinnamon Sugar:
While the quesadillas are still warm, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture generously over the top.

Notes

For added flavor, brush the tortillas with melted butter and sprinkle them with cinnamon sugar before cooking. Use Granny Smith apples for a tart flavor or Honeycrisp for extra sweetness.
